PUMA: A new global multiplication format

The partnership between Schweitzer and the world's third largest sporting goods manufacturer Puma began in 2022 with the design of a multiplication concept for the global market.

In order to show the client's management a lifelike mockup, a dark store was developed in 1:1 format, produced and installed at Puma's HQ. Speed was a decisive factor here, as the first store opening was scheduled for a few weeks later.

Suwon, Korea

Following a feasibility study and in-depth research into globally available materials, initial material samples and scenarios were developed. Our prototype production facility in Naturns took care of the production of the prototype store.

We used FSC-certified materials and developed a recyclable packaging concept to meet the customer's requirements for the most sustainable production possible.

To date, the concept has been implemented in Seoul and Suwon in Korea as well as in Dubai.

The next opening is planned in Las Vegas in November 2024. The store on Las Vegas boulevard on 3 floors and 1.400 m² will also highlight the concept. The premium store will feature clean, open lines throughout to showcase PUMA’s signature trends and technologies in footwear, apparel, and accessories across performance, lifestyle, team sport, motorsport, basketball and kids categories.
