The owners of Marktkauf Burg wanted to update their store & to surprise their customers with a new look. The challenge was to revitalise & modernise the store ambience within a manageable investment & a 5 week time frame.

The store transformation was achieved with 3 parallel workstreams: A complete graphic refresh, minor layout optimisations & replacement of the store lighting system.
Concept
A completely new graphic system was designed within the existing colour scheme & location structure, with sub-navigation making it easier for consumers to find their way around the store.
Existing wall colour schemes were supplemented or completely renewed.
Changes to the layout of non-food areas, fruit & vegetables & other fresh produce departments, also designed to accommodate more space for the expansion of organic assortments.
A new lighting concept placing the products in the spotlight, emphasising freshness, increasing attractivity & customer desire.
