R290 is a natural and environmentally friendly refrigerant with a very low GWP* value of 3.

This colourless and odourless gas features similar pressure levels and refrigerating capacity to conventional refrigerants. People have been using R290 in heat pumps, air conditioning units and refrigeration systems for years – and at an ever increasing rate.
As a result of its high energy efficiency and excellent thermodynamic/refrigerating properties, it has come to be appreciated as a highly effective energy-saving refrigerant.
